משפט מנהלי

Dealing with a public body or government authority can be deeply frustrating – especially when it has harmed your interests or denied you something you are entitled to. Sometimes the dispute is forced upon you; at other times you need to take the initiative yourself – to get an answer, to make the authority act, or to obtain a permit, license, or other entitlement.

This means dealing with the officials or committees empowered to decide, and when they respond unfavorably – or not at all – it is often necessary to turn to the Administrative Affairs Court or the High Court of Justice.

When government power is used unlawfully – arbitrarily, disproportionately, or without proper exercise of discretion – skilled representation before the authorities concerned and in the courts is essential to handling the dispute effectively.

Our work in this area includes proceedings against administrative authorities, freedom of information petitions, petitions against the Firearms Licensing Division, and petitions by public employees challenging administrative measures. We also represent public officials who are themselves the subject of petitions, including soldiers, police officers, civil servants, and prosecutors.

We represent senior officials and public servants before review committees, military commissions of inquiry, and state commissions of inquiry, as well as in complex proceedings on matters of public importance.

How we can help
